Army Cadets are a not-for-profit organization supported, but not funded, by the Canadian Armed Forces. We depend on the generosity of the community to help make these opportunities available to our youth. If you would like to make a donation please click here.
Looking for fun, adventure, new challenges and new friends? Then the Army Cadets is the place for you.
21 Royal Highland Fusiliers of Canada Royal Canadian Cadet Corps (21 RHFC RCACC) is looking for youth ages 12-18 to become part of our exciting program. We meet once a week during the school year where you will learn citizenship, leadership, drill, effective speaking, outdoor survival, air rifle shooting, play sports and much more. Plus, we have additional weekends for bush exercises, competitions, trips and a variety of other fun experiences. Click here to learn more about our training
On top of all this, during the summer, cadets have the opportunity to go to a variety of summer camps. These courses range from 2 to 7 week courses and include basic training, introductory and advanced courses to leadership and instruction, drill and ceremonial, outdoor and sports training, and the Canadian Forces basic parachutist course. There are also international exchanges for select cadets to places like Australia, South Korea and Scotland.
As if this wasn't enough incentive, a number of cadet activities also qualify as community service for school. Can it get any better? Who else gets to have fun AND do their schoolwork at the same time?
Why wait? Contact us today or stop by and talk to one 21 Army Cadets staff.
